John makes a Christmas miracle happen by bringing his one and only friend to life, his teddy bear. The two grow up together and John must then choose to stay with his girlfriend or keep his friendship with his crude and extremely inappropriate teddy bear, Ted (2012).

John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg) is a perfectly normal Boston native whose childhood wish for his teddy bear to come to life comes true. The bear, Ted (2012) (voiced by Seth MacFarlane), remains his best friend from the age of 8 into his adulthood. Twenty-seven years later, conflict emerges when Ted (2012) irresponsible and vulgar slacker lifestyle comes in the way of John's attempt to embrace adulthood and his love-interest Lori (Mila Kunis). While not an exact reproduction of the toy, the film's timeline coincides with the introduction of Teddy Ruxpin, the talking teddy bear.

 The film was set for a July 13, 2012, release in North America, but was pushed up to June 29 after the delay of G.I. Joe: Retaliation. The film is due to be released in the United Kingdom on August 1, 2012 and in Australia on July 5, 2012.

At Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds a "negative" rating of 20%, based on 134 reviews and an average rating of 4.2/10, with the critical consensus saying, "While it provides the requisite amount of escapist melodrama, The Lucky One 2012 ultimately relies on too many schmaltzy clichés to appeal to anyone not already familiar with the Nicholas Sparks formula". Logan is a marine serving in Iraq. While there, he finds a photo of a girl with "keep safe" written on the back. He is admiring it when his unit is attacked. He survives and credits the photo for saving him. He tries to find the owner but can't, assuming he was killed. When he goes back to the States, he finds it difficult to adjust and is still haunted by what happened. Analyzing the photo, he finds in the background a landmark that tells him she is in Louisiana. He then goes there and finds her. He learns her name is Beth. He tries to tell her what happened but can't get the words out.

A Marine travels to Louisiana after serving three tours in Iraq and searches for the unknown woman he believes was his good luck charm during the war.

On 7 October 2011, the Los Angeles Times reported that Travis was prohibited from participating in the editing process following creative disagreements between producers and executives. The Dredd (2012) editing process was taken over by writer Garland, whose contribution was considered to be significant enough that he could seek a co-director credit – a situation considered unusual as Garland had never directed a film before and had not been in charge of any filming. Wrath of the Titans is a 2012 American fantasy film and sequel to the 2010 film Clash of the Titans. The film stars Sam Worthington, Rosamund Pike, Bill Nighy, Édgar Ramírez, Toby Kebbell, Danny Huston, Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson with Jonathan Liebesman directing a screenplay by Dan Mazeau and David Leslie Johnson. Wrath of the Titans takes place a decade after the events of the first film as the gods lose control over the imprisoned Titans and Perseus is called once again, this time to rescue his father Zeus, overthrow the Titans and save mankind.

Talk of a sequel began with the release of Clash of the Titans in March 2010. Scribes Dan Mazeau and David Leslie Johnson were hired in June 2010 and director Jonathan Liebesman was brought on-board in August 2010. The majority of the casting took place between January and February 2011. Principal photography began in London in March 2011. Like its predecessor, the film was converted to 3D in post-production. Wrath of the Titans was released in 2D and 3D on March 30, 2012 in the United States and was met with a generally unfavorable response by film critics.
