John makes a Christmas miracle happen by bringing his one and only friend to life, his teddy bear. The two grow up together and John must then choose to stay with his girlfriend or keep his friendship with his crude and extremely inappropriate teddy bear, Ted (2012).

John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg) is a perfectly normal Boston native whose childhood wish for his teddy bear to come to life comes true. The bear, Ted (2012) (voiced by Seth MacFarlane), remains his best friend from the age of 8 into his adulthood. Twenty-seven years later, conflict emerges when Ted (2012) irresponsible and vulgar slacker lifestyle comes in the way of John's attempt to embrace adulthood and his love-interest Lori (Mila Kunis). While not an exact reproduction of the toy, the film's timeline coincides with the introduction of Teddy Ruxpin, the talking teddy bear.

 The film was set for a July 13, 2012, release in North America, but was pushed up to June 29 after the delay of G.I. Joe: Retaliation. The film is due to be released in the United Kingdom on August 1, 2012 and in Australia on July 5, 2012.

The Hunter 2011 is an 2011 American Horror-thriller film directed by Chris Briant. The Hunter 2011 film stars Steven Waddington, Tony Becker, and Dianna Agron. The Hunter 2011 released in limited theaters on December 11, 2011. Detective Le Saint is assigned to protect a police informant and arranges to meet the informant at an abandoned fort in the woods. When he arrives, he finds that a group of men are using the fort as a base for hunting humans. Alice and a friend also decide to visit the fort and become caught in the hunt.

A mercenary hunter named Martin David (Willem Defoe) is hired by a military biotech company called Red Leaf to go to Tasmania and follow up on two sightings of the presumably extinct Tasmanian Tiger. His orders are to recover tissue and organ samples and to report back once he gathers them, as the company is convinced the sighting reports are reliable. When he arrives in Tasmania under the alias of a professor from a university, he takes up a temporary residence at a rural location with a single mother named Lucy Armstrong (Frances O'Connor) and her two young children Sass and her brother Bike. Sass is a very vocal girl, while Bike chooses never to speak, similar to David who prefers isolation. Lucy Armstrong spends most of her time sleeping due to her dependency on prescribed medication - her grief caused by her environmentalist husband Jarrah Armstrong, who disappeared in the Tasmanian wilderness some eight months earlier. Speculation surrounds his disappearance as there has been a longstanding conflict between the local loggers and the 'greenies', a group of environmentalists who have set up barriers to protest the deforestation. Realizing he does not want to stay at the Armstrong's home due to a neglected malfunctioning generator and the discomfort he feels around the children, David attempts to find someone else he can pay in exchange for temporary lodging. He searches at the local pub, only to be accosted by the loggers who believe he is one of the environmental protestors, which David never corrects due to the need for keeping his real agenda for being in Tasmania a secret.

Rock of Ages is an upcoming American musical film and is a film adaptation of the 2006 Chris D'Arienzo comedy rock/jukebox Broadway musical of the same name. Originally scheduled to enter production in the summer of 2010 for a 2011 release, it eventually started production in May 2011 and is scheduled for a June 15, 2012, release. Rock of Ages film stars country singer Julianne Hough and Diego Boneta with an ensemble cast including Tom Cruise, Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Paul Giamatti, Malin Åkerman, Bryan Cranston, with Alec Baldwin and Mary J. Blige. Rock of Ages film will feature the music of Bon Jovi, Guns N' Roses, Def Leppard, Foreigner, Journey, Poison, Europe, Night Ranger, Twisted Sister, and REO Speedwagon, and was directed by Adam Shankman. In 1987, Sherrie Christian travels from Oklahoma to Los Angeles with dreams of becoming a famous singer ("Sister Christian"/"Just Like Paradise"). Passing by a popular nightclub called "The Bourbon Room", Sherrie's suitcase, containing her favorite records, is stolen. Drew Boley, who works at the Bourbon Room as a busboy, tries to catch the robber, but fails. He comforts Sherrie and, upon learning of her condition, he gets her a job at the Bourbon Room as a waitress. The club's owner, Dennis Dupree, and his right-hand man, Lonny Barnett, arrange for Stacee Jaxx, a famous rock star who recently announced he'll split from his band, Arsenal, to perform with them one last time at the Bourbon Room, hoping that the income will help them with unpaid taxes that are threatning the club. Upon learning of this, Patricia Whitman the religious conservative wife of Mayor Mike Whitman, who wants revenge against Jaxx for sleeping with her in college and never calling back, organizes her church to protest in front of the Bourbon Room, planning to shut them down ("Hit Me With Your Best Shot"). Meanwhile, Drew and Sherrie go to an used records store, where they both confess their dreams of becoming famous ("Juke Box Hero"/"I Love Rock 'n' Roll"). Drew decides to write a song for Sherrie. They later have a date at the Hollywood sign, where they slowly fall in love ("Waiting for a Girl Like You").

In Monte Carlo, the Penguins and two chimpanzees, Mason and Phil (disguising as the King of Versailles) keep winning in gambling until Alex's gang's attempt to reach them blunders and sparks chaos in the Hotel De Paris. Hotel security calls Monaco Animal Control officer Captain Chantel DuBois (Frances McDormand) to deal with the animals, but she wants them dead as trophies. During a high-speed chase between the relentless DuBois and the animals in a truck driven by the Penguins to reach their aircraft, the animals barely manage to elude her.

The Vow is a 2012 romantic drama film directed by Michael Sucsy, starring Rachel McAdams, Channing Tatum, Sam Neill, Scott Speedman and Jessica Lange. The Vow film is based on the true story of Kim and Krickitt Carpenter.

The Vow is based on the actual relationship of Kim and Krickitt Carpenter, who wrote a book about their marriage, also known as The Vow. Ten weeks after their wedding on 18 September 1993, the couple was in an automobile accident in which Krickitt suffered brain trauma, which erased memories of her romance with Kim as well as their recent marriage. Kim, however, was still madly in love with his wife, although she viewed him as a stranger after the accident. According to the couple, their faith in Jesus and their wedding vows before God kept them together.

Paige Collins (Rachel McAdams) and her husband Leo (Channing Tatum) come out of a movie theater. On their way home, at a stop sign, Paige unbuckles her seatbelt to lean over and kiss Leo. At that very moment, a truck rams their car from behind and Paige crashes through the windshield. Both of them are rushed to the emergency room, and as Leo, in a voice-over talks about how "moments of impact help in finding who we are" the movie cuts to how Paige and Leo first met. The scenes of how they courted, proposed and married are interwoven with the present.
